I visited Rubels and Angels in Surulere and I think I just discovered one of the most affordable spots in that area. I liked the space, they have lounge specially for people who buy a certain amount of food. The walls are well decorated with inscriptions that are for foodies (lol); the symbols of no bound.

MEAL

I must say, their ice cream was a hit, and the burger’s size was truly impressive. However, while the bun was fresh and the burger itself was massive and filling, I felt it lacked in flavor. The beef patty was a bit spicy and didn’t quite hit the mark taste-wise. On the flip side, the fries were enjoyable, and the ketchup had a pleasant twist. As for the BBQ chicken, it was decent, although the flavor seemed to come mainly from the coating rather than the chicken itself. Overall, if you’re looking for wallet-friendly spot with hefty portions, Rubels and Angels might be worth a shot.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

Overall, it was a good and tasty meal and the staff were super welcoming. I would visit again.
