For my first street food, I stopped by Super Suya, also known as Akerele Suya; a budget friendly Suya spot in surulere. Many claim it’s one of the best in town, so trust me to check it out. It’s not the regular table stand type of suya spot and it’s easy to find because it is just by the road side. Down to it, the attendants are friendly and cheerful and the space is quite clean and comfortable. It’s a grab and go spot; no chairs. I opted for the big Suya stick on their menu and it didn’t disappoint, it was well flavored and spicy. Have you tried Supa Suya before?

Next, I stopped by this local Akara & Puff puff spot located at Gbagada. She had Akara and Bread also, but I was there for the Puff Puff; which tasted good and was quite affordable – ₦10 per puff puff. It wasn’t too oily or sugary – it was a perfect blend. I enjoyed it.

I decided to wrap the challenge up by visiting Itsgokwaife. I settled for the shawarma at this place, and I have to say, it was absolutely worth it. My order only took 20 minutes, and the customer service was top-notch. I got their chicken shawarma; it was delicious, spicy and creamy. I enjoyed every bite, yes, my money well spent. The shawarma was spicy, creamy and delicious; the perfect wrap to close out my first episode of street food visit.
