Obaebae Café is a wellness café that serves healthy meals and juices along with some pastries and breakfast options. It’s a small space hidden behind various stores on Lekki Phase 1.

Although it’s not a very large space, and they had just two staff -the owner and a waiter; the service was nothing short of impeccable. They were both so pleasant and efficient; the food quality made my dining experience memorable.

WAFFLES
I ordered their waffles and chocolate cake with whipped cream. The waffle was served with strawberries, blueberries, and grapes with a topping of caramel syrup. It was so good. The waffle was freshly made and had just the right amount of sweetness that wasn’t overpowered by the caramel syrup. The fruits were fresh and went well with the waffle. It was an amazing feast for me.

CHOCOLATE CAKE
I got a slice of their in-house chocolate cake with whipped cream. It was okay. I would have liked a more decadent cake. The whipped cream helped elevate it. It was a 7/10 for me.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
It was a good adventure, I liked the cozy space too. I would be back to try something else on the menu.
