Have you ever wanted to get water from a store and see bubbling water, spring water, sparkling water, and more? You just become uncertain about which bottle of water to buy, right? This article will help you understand the types of water, the differences between each type, and their functions.
Spring Water comes from natural or underground sources; it is similar to glacier water, except glacier water is collected from melting mountain tops. Both water, however, contains magnesium and calcium and gets sealed in a plastic bottle to be sold around the world. The only difference between these and your tap water is the packaging and the expense- you could drink this.
Mineral Water is extracted from natural mineral sources and naturally filtered through soil and rock with time. It contains salt and sulfur compound and is safe for drinking; mineral water can either be still or sparkling.
Sparkling Water could be club soda, carbonated water, or soda water. It contains calcium and carbon dioxide; although varieties of sparkling water contain artificial sweeteners, the ones with antioxidants serve the benefit of reducing cancer risk and can be used to mix cocktails.
Infused Water is homemade or store-bought water spiced with herbs, fruits, or vegetables. Infused water is easy to make and keeps you hydrated. It is perfect for weight loss, after workout, and to adjust taste buds.
Alkaline Water is regular water but with a higher PH level; it is extracted from tap water mixed with purifying materials but could cause skin irritation, especially in people with a skin disease history- you might want to be careful with this.
